2. General information
We process personal data only insofar as this is necessary to provide this website, handle enquiries or carry out pre-contractual and contractual measures. Personal data is any information that can be used to identify you personally.
3. Hosting and server log data
When this website is accessed, the hosting provider processes technically necessary server log data. This may include the IP address, date and time of access, requested file, amount of data transferred, referrer URL, browser type and operating system. Processing takes place to provide the website securely, reliably and without errors on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure and reliable operation of our website.
Log data is stored only for as long as necessary to achieve these purposes and to prevent or investigate misuse. Longer storage may take place where required to comply with legal obligations or establish legal claims.
4. Contact by email
When you contact us by email, we process the information you provide, including your contact details, to handle your enquiry and answer follow-up questions. Where contact concerns the initiation or performance of a contract, processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. In other cases, processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is the proper handling of your enquiry.
The data will be deleted once your enquiry has been fully resolved and no statutory retention obligations or legitimate interests require further storage.
5. Recipients of data
Personal data is received only by service providers and bodies that require it for the purposes described. These may include hosting and email service providers. Where required, agreements pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR have been concluded with processors. Data is disclosed to other third parties only with your consent, for the performance of a contract or where required by law.
6. Transfers to third countries
Personal data is transferred to countries outside the European Union or the European Economic Area only where necessary for the stated purposes and where the statutory requirements are met. This may take place in particular on the basis of an adequacy decision by the European Commission or appropriate safeguards pursuant to Art. 46 GDPR.
7. Cookies, local storage and Google Analytics
Technically necessary website functions do not require analytics or marketing cookies. Your decision on audience measurement is stored in your browser’s local storage for no longer than six months.
With your explicit consent, we use Google Analytics 4, a service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. We collect only standard page views and the technical device, browser and connection data generated in the process. Enhanced measurement, Google Signals, personalised advertising and remarketing are disabled. Content from contact emails is not transmitted to Google.
The Google tag is loaded only after your consent. Processing is based on section 25(1) TDDDG and Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. Processing by Google LLC in the United States cannot be ruled out. Further information is available in Google’s privacy policy.
Google Analytics cookies may be stored for up to twelve months. You can change your decision at any time via “Cookie settings”. Accessible Google Analytics cookies are then deleted and the Google tag will no longer be loaded on the next page view.
8. Your rights
Subject to the statutory requirements, you have the right of access under Art. 15 GDPR, rectification under Art. 16 GDPR, erasure under Art. 17 GDPR, restriction of processing under Art. 18 GDPR, data portability under Art. 20 GDPR and objection under Art. 21 GDPR. You may withdraw consent at any time with future effect pursuant to Art. 7(3) GDPR.
9. Right to lodge a complaint
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information Baden-Württemberg is the supervisory authority responsible for our registered location.
10. Provision of data and automated decisions
The provision of personal data when contacting us is neither legally nor contractually required. However, without the information necessary to process your enquiry, we may not be able to respond. No automated decision-making, including profiling, takes place.
11. Security and updates
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. This privacy policy will be updated if the website, services used or legal requirements change.
